My almost two year old dipped her blueberry pancakes in ketchup tonight.

And it wasn't just some random situation. After I gave her the pancakes, she opened the fridge, grabbed the bottle of ketchup, replied "NO!" when I asked her if she'd rather have syrup, poured out some ketchup, dipped her pancakes, and then poured even more ketchup for dipping.

Even her older sister, who sometimes dips weird things in ketchup, was telling her it was weird.

I used to put ketchup on my rice and on my boiled potatoes. I don't do it any more but I still don't think it is disgusting. I never, ever put ketchup on my KD...why ruin it?

syrup on the breakfast meats and hash browns is a good one.

Franks Red Hot on pizza is really good.

There's a small Japanese restaurant up here that sells sesame sauce by the bottle, and I put that on most meat products, as well as stir fry's and sometimes potatoes.

I like salsa on my potatoes instead of butter.

I like ranch dressing with my french fries.

Spicy Thai sauce on my chicken, pork chops, and eggs.

Parmesian cheese on my veggies and popcorn.

Whoa! Thanks for the heads up. I'm a ketchup addict heading to Australia in Nov. Sounds like I better bring my own bottle of Heinz.

Also note, condiments aren't free in Australia at fast food places. They charge 50 cents usually for alittle jar of tomato sauce, tartar sauce, or any other sauce you made need. Even at MacDonalds

Tony Roma's hot sauce from Costco is way better than Frank's. Anyone else enjoy the creamy fatness of Kraft's Burger Sauce?

How about just weird condiment "pickiness" ? I use a different condiment for fries from different places, and I can't imagine mixing them up. That would be just weird....

Wendy's fries: -------> Mayonnaise
McD's fries: ---------> Au Naturel
A&W fries: ----------> Ketchup
Peters' fries: --------> Vinegar
McCain fries: --------> Seasoning salt
KFC fries: -----------> Gravy

I just wish McDonalds here would be consistant. Ketchup is free, but Mayo is 10¢ per pack. Their reasoning is that mayo costs more. Makes a bit of sense, but if I ask for 20 packs of ketchup they will give it to me, but I ask for one pack of mayo and they charge.

And different McDonalds have different rules. For example in Winnipeg; they charge 10¢ only if you ask for extra; you get 1, 2, or 3 free depending on the size of fries you buy.

I like mixing honey and plain yogurt. I was first exposed to this in Greece and its amazing. Unfortunately we can't get the extra thick (and extra unhealthy) Greek yougurt here, but the store but stuff still good enough.

I also mix Thai hot sauce into my rice.

YES! I finally found someone else who does this, I have had many a weird look when I'm eating black fries. I also love soy sauce on Mashed potatoes.

Ketchup goes with everything! Yes, even KD (but I usually just load it with pepper and hot sauce).

Buttered toast dipped in ketchup, BBQ sauce or HP.

Salt on cantaloupe and apple slices.

Seasoned Salt on popcorn.

i've seen someone dip their wendy's fries in their frosty.... yuck.

I am a soy sauce whore when we have rice it goes on everything.
Lemon Pepper on KD is great too!! Cant stand ketchup on KD only use it for Sausages, Eggs, Hamburgers/Hotdogs, and sometimes fries. Salsa is a good alternative to ketchup though I find.

My dad used to have salt and butter on toast.

My buddies always look at me weird when I put salt and pepper on pizza.
