Oilers starting to be overwhelmed by the ducks but Talbot holding the fort. McDavid receiving a few pretty good hits so far.

Duncan Keith scored on the power play, 3-3 now after forty minutes.

I never like seeing the Oilers win but I also hate the Ducks and it is fun to see them in a free fall about to lose 8 in a row.

Cancel the parade cancellation and re-genius Chia.

The Blackhawks take a 4-3 lead early in the third period. Good game.

You’d think Edmonton would be tired playing back-to-back, but I don’t think it counts if you don’t even show up for the first game...

Parade is back on the menu boys! The Oilers are about to beat the juggernaut Ducks who have lost 7 straight, last night never happened! Chia is safe!

Just like Hitchcock said last night though. When they get roasted by the coach, the national media, and even the local scribes off their doses of Kool Aid this last 24h, they respond. But they are unable or unwilling to do it from within.

Still think Chia doesn’t last the month. He’s been rendered impotent by Lowe, but will remain for as long as he can be used as a scape goat internally or externally. Lowe gives back MacT the GM role and attaches the strings to MacTavish’s back, and Lowe himself reassumes the Hockey Operations role, and its back to the good times with Lowe using his delusional logic and ego to make decisions and prove once again how smart he is compared to other GMs.

My only disappointment is that had the Oilers lost tonight the Arizona Coyotes would have been within two points with even games played. Oh well.

Cheering for the Oilers is gross but honestly it was a great result for us. Anaheim loses and can now be leapfrogged by the next Minny or Vancouver win, Chia buys more time, it keeps the Oilers further away from the lottery but there still not a threat to make the playoffs. Thanks a lot you sad sack losers.

Would be nice if they could waft some of that stink over to San Jose and Vegas.

This is exactly what Hitchcock described that lockerroom. They are a situational motivated team.

they're feeling great right now, but they'll feel relaxed next game and then we'll get the same moppy Oilers again
