Wild commentators were so over dramatic..goodness. I'd say they didn't deserve the win if not for Dubplug. L.A. will make the dance ahead of them though. Hope they biff on the last day of the season just for laughs. If Duby takes a spill they're most definitely screwed.

Not that impressed with Dubnyk based on that game, it looks like he is due to get lit up.

Yeah, I have no idea what JG was thinking on that game losing goal.

Jooris sure has been very mediocre lately.
Might be time to send him down.

Not good by JG last goal. He did well to get back, but then followed the puck carrier all the way low when the two defenseman had it covered. His man was the high man who scored, and to boot, he interfered with Hiller, and it went off of him.
Up front, you'd almost like him to slow down just a tick, all the moves but because of that, loses the puck.
Glencross a step behind. Colborne didn't play in the third from what I saw.
Good to get a point but Dubnyk did it again.

Oh I don't know. The Wild cover shooting lanes well, but let in quite a few close opportunities, and Dubnyuk seemed to shine on those. It could be a case of a goalie fitting in really well with a team.
They could use some offensive oomph, but other than that they look pretty good to me.
That said, this was a goaltending win for the Wild. Hiller was good but not great, Dubnyuk was great. That's the difference.

I'm betting not that long...

They have some good players but they just don't really dictate the play and rather sit back and wait for turnovers. I'm not a fan of the coach myself as they still play too much of that familiar Wild style of play. It just seems that organization is doomed to never play a creative style of hockey. If they didn't have a goaltender come in and stand on his head every night they would be drafting top 10.

How it sits right now:
1 pt up on Vancouver, though they have 2 games in hand. Canucks play the Rangers tomorrow, then New Jersey the following night.
About to be 2 pts up on LA, though they have 1 game in hand. They play San Jose on Saturday.
Also 2 pts up on San Jose, though we have 1 game in hand on them.

Are you kidding me. If you're not just watching goals you'd see that Jooris made a game saving back check while miraculously not taking a penalty on a Bruins breakaway last game.
He does all the little things right, and has been very strong lately. HE's playing with Raymond and Glencross who are two of the worst puck possession players you could possibly play with, those guys are like 50/50 to give the puck up within 3 seconds of getting it.
Jooris is an NHL player and there's no reason to send him down right now.

- Terrible first period
- Flames dominate after 1st
- Dubynk played well but I thought was fortunate on a few plays
- I don't blame Johnny on that last goal, he was closest to the man driving to the net. If Wideman just skates to the slot and picks up Koivu the Wild player driving wide has no pass to koivu
- F the Wild
That is all

That logic makes no sense.
We can't always expect these comebacks after playing a poor first period. We have to learn to play 60 minutes of solid hockey.
