If Rhettzky and Heatley come out, we will have 13. As much as I like playing with two lines, I think this is an important game (cause we already f-ing beat them), and I think the reason we beat them last time was because we had three lines and we were rolling them really fast, we just kept pressuring them.

update: Heatley's out, so we'll likely have 3 sets of wingers, 2 centers and 4 d-men.

I'll volunteer to be the guy who smashes into the boards face-first, then. You can't take that away from me.
(reference to last nights saints game, not the incident at the puckers last game)

The last thing we need is more players crashing into the boards...
Any idea on lines by the way? I guess if we don't know who's all coming its hard to say...

Captain America referee to the rescue... what a joke he was.
Me: Hey, are we not calling hits?
Ref: Who said that?
Me: I did
Ref: Get in the box
me: For what?
Ref: STFU
Me: Are you kidding?
Ref: Want to sit for another 10?
Guy is a complete joke.

Yargh. That one hurt. Great 1st period and a fantastically reffed game. Even though there was about 800 penalties, it was a very well called game and basically solidifies my complaints that there are a handful whose goal it is to mess with the game. Very physical game, but I think they got the worst of it.

Tonight's game showed that we have some fundamental's that could use a little work. Yesterday's game against the Eagles showed what a joke certain refs are and how much they can influence a game.
It was the same ref who sent our team home on Halloween night, and he made it clear right away that he was going to do everything in his power to f over our team from now on.
Plus, I'm still bitter about playing the Eagles again, as their captain lied to the league and said there was 40 seconds left in that second period, when it was very clear there was under ten seconds, or else we wouldn't have been yelling at Straybullet "TEN SECONDS" as he went down on a rush.
