Yup, my wife fully rejected "I think you should leave" a few years ago. So I was trepiditious about starting it, but she's really enjoying the weirdness. I'm still trying to figure out how they can make a series around it, but I'm in for the ride. The mystery box has my attention.
Chad Powers on the Disney Channel. It started out shaky but really found its stride by the end of season one. It also has a really solid cast in it.
I find it humorous that the female lead, Perry Mattfeld, is actually married to a former QB who was also great in college but became linked with one embarrassing and infamous play just like Chad Powers in the show.
And now even more infamous with Sanchez's recent altercation and stabbing.

Watched Brand New Cherry Flavor on Netflix, and really enjoyed it. Not much depth to it, but I would very strongly recommend it for fans of weird horror and pitch black humor. Starts a bit slow and I felt the ending was somewhat underwhelming, but it has good actors, looks good or at times even great for the budget, solid writing, unique ideas and sufficiently unexpected twists, and some very pleasantely messed up moments.
It's a show you'll remember watching, which is not what you can say for most things on streaming
