Front desks almost always have a safe or lockers for you to lock your things in. NEVER leave valuables in your room. Nail clippers! Razors. Advil. After sun lotion. Gravol. If you're going on a cruise take some ginger with you. You can buy ginger candy. It's great for nausea, my cousin keeps it on his boat.

I wish I would have checked this before our last trip to Cozumel (via Toronto) booked with our Visa miles. My poor husband had NO leg room on our flight to Toronto. Then, on the way back, we were in a row in which the seats didn't recline, but at least he could move his legs

The noise cancelling headphones are a must they work wonders. I travel alot and don't always have tv's on my flights so a good book and an ipod are a must for me.
I don't care if they don't recline - i want the leg room. And judging by how quickly those seats are taken, other people feel the same way. In fact business travelers are snapping these seats up as opposed to buying first class seats.

Thing is most airlines don't give you a lot of leg room as they try to squeeze more passengers onto their planes. On some flights my knees are hitting the back of the seat in front of me, and i'm not a tall person.

I'm pretty sure the only exit row seats that don't recline are those that have another emergency exit in the row right behind them. So just get those seats and they'll recline just fine.

Seatguru.com is a godsend, helped keep me from picking bads seats on my flights to and from Buenos Aires in February.
