I remember in like early March some of the prognosticators with the record Calgary was going to have to post to make it to playoffs. Thought people were drunk and making it was SO unlikely.
Yet they literally achieved it. They didn’t make it because of a totally insane asinine series of unfortunate events and the NHL doing what the NHL does best- being idiotic. You have pucks across the line not counting multiple times and then literally NO help with the OoT scoreboard. Crazy.

Why? Unless you expect them to move up the next two drafts which is highly unlikely. I’ll take the better pick now then hoping to get it two more times
How many times have we heard - this is the death spiral for this team, this is the week we'll see them fall out of contention and then they just power through the hard stretches and usually come out in a good spot.
Im so proud of this team.
I dont give a eff about "mushy middle" wasted year ect. This team was a blast to watch - they gave us fun entertainment and really they pumped some life back into this city.

94-96 points is playoffs range, its a bad beat there will be worse teams in the playoffs
Are you referring to teams in the East as the bad teams? Because of scheduling, I don't feel it's fair to compare the playoff mark between conferences. The west had the 3 worst team in the league to feed off of, which could inflate the points earned on that side.
Either way. Flames having a -17 goal differential makes it incredibly challenging to qualify for the playoffs. Montreal might also get kicked out of their playoff spot within the next 48 hours with their -22 goal differential currently.
Still really tilted over the Ducks choke and not a whole lot of salt from Knights fans. I'm taking the night off. Would have been an epic night if they didn't.... oh well
