Or Jones? Or Neal?!!!!
Edit: Seriously, moving Neal would require moving another first

It would cost a 1st to get rid of those players IMO let alone get Hall back.
Then 6x6 Hall and Nuge?

Buffalo is already at rock bottom and are desperate to turn things around. Why would they add an anchor like Neal? It would almost be like the Flames taking Neal back.

Only way that I can make it work with that roster is :
Jones (next year 850K RFA), Turris (next year 1.65), Chaisson (UFA), 1st
for
Hall (50% retained UFA)
then they bring up Tyler Ennis, send down Koskinen, and run with a 22 man roster.

I don’t think tons of teams are lining up to give them a first for 2 goal Taylor Hall.
They could spin it as a NHL ready prospect to take Neal, and a first for Hall.
I think It’s being reported Nuge is in the 4 year area. I’d imagine neither at 6 years but who knows.

IDK, I think Hall will want to sign a long term deal after his last couple years...not sure why the Nuge would sign a deal like that either...this is his best chance to get the home run contract.
I agree that Buffalo are not getting their doors blown off with offers right now but this doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Skinner and Neal on the same team lol
Where are these rumors coming from? Just fan chatter?

The rumours are out there that Oilers looking for a trade and sign, can’t remember from who.
That projected trade is all me though. I haven’t heard anything about what it would look like.

Also, he obviously wasn’t seeing long term or big dollars last year either. He’s probably realizing he’s not getting what he normally would.
Plus he’s a moron. Who bets on themselves by taking a huge one year contract on a terrible team? He could have pulled a Barrie, took 4 mil on a one year and went to Colorado, and probably made out like a bandit.

We need to clear cap space to sign the Tenderness, in order to piss off the Oiler fanbase.

Well, he signed with a team that had Eichel on it as his centre. Even a crappy team has stars that often put up a ton of points. You of all people should know this.
And Barrie’s contract is like Hall’s except Barrie just wasn’t worth as much in any scenario. His $4M is a lot like Hall’s $8M. Fair value if he produces as expected.

Barrie was offered more and turned it down to go to a better fit.
Heck hall could have taken league min to go to Tampa and probably would have ended up with a cup and a way bigger contract then he’s getting now

Figuring you are going to put up mega points with Eichel is just not that far fetched.
As for Barrie, I heard the rumour but I don’t really buy it.

May as well just assume he's going to Tampa.
