How long has the HTC desire HD been out?

TBQH id love to get the newest and best phone coming out, anyone know if there are plans to replace the Desire HD in the future?

Desire (Telus) has been out since March 2010
Desire Z (Bell) Sept 2010
Desire HD (Telus) Oct 2010
Desise S (not sure if any one has this model in Alberta) March 2011 - this is the SLCD model.

I do not know if they plan to release a better phone anytime soon... seems like they keep adjusting the Desire. I have the HD. I really like the phone.

It sounds stupid but i just wanna make sure i get the best phone, im not like most people who can switch phones every 1-2 years, i like to keep mine for a while so i need to make sure im getting the best i can at the time.

No info on the Incredible S coming to telus, most are saying its not as good as the Desire HD anyways.

just search the phones you want on youtube, there are sooo many guys that do reviews of everything under the sun about them...and if they are the new models, they usually have a comparison to the current leader

The problem with the smartphone market nowadays is the fact that whatever you buy will be obsolete pretty quickly.

The HTC Pyramid/Sensation will be announced pretty soon, not sure if it is coming to Canada, but basically it is the Desire HD with a higher res screen, dual core processor among other improvements. The Galaxy S 2 will be announced shortly as well, Super AMOLED Plus screen, dual core processor, and a 4.3" screen to match the desire HD's.

Right now, the best Android phones available in Canada would be the Desire HD, Incredible S, Nexus S, Atrix, and soon to be released SE Arc (which is the best of these 5 is debatable).
