Second eagle of the day and up four strokes on the field. Conners is playing well, but with the star power around him you can't afford to keep missing birdie looks like this. Should be solo second at -10, instead tons of guys stepping on his heels.

This is great, literally everyone in the top 5 starting to heat up with favorable conditions, while Conners heats up up with them.....minus putting. FFS. His masters chances will be toast in short order if Rose, Bryson and McIlroy keep getting birdie looks and he stays cold with the putter.

Fitting that tomorrow will be a big mental test for Rory. The pressure will be immense given that the career slam is on the line, having to overcome last year's demons, and his overall major demons the past 10 years. But he's been the best player this week, if he can hold his nerve I think he might win it comfortably. But a big if there.

Yep, agree 100%. Not a good initial outcome for rory on the fonal pairing, but the headline if he wins will be the dechambeau pairing helped him overcome demons.
Im not sure how he overcomes not winning tomorrow though. Yikes.

Greg Norman never did, and that eventually led to the birth of liv. Hopefully Rory has locked himself into a faraday cage and no one is saying anything like that to him tonight.

What an exciting masters Sunday this is shaping up to be. My heart is with Conners, but even putting that aside, basically the ultimate ratings/hype final pairing, plus a bunch of other stars in the top 10, perfect weather and a bunched up leaderboard.
Could be one for the ages...or someone pulls away early and the wind is sucked out of the sails.
