Yeah, how dare we be upset when something upsetting happens, and happy when something good happens!
That's just CRAZY!

Crazy stat before the goal, the last time a goalie other than Kipper started 2 straight games (until Irving this year) for the Flames was in Jan 2004 (Turek).

Did we ever find out the lady's name that sits behind the Flames bench? "The Lady in Red."

I can't believe the hate Iginla is getting in this thread. It's absolutely outrageous.
For someone who sacrificed his blood, sweat, and tears for the Flames when he could've bolted on us we sure are an ungrateful bunch. Why not cut the guy a little bit of slack? Every other fanbase in the league gives their superstars some room to work with. For some reason on this forum if Iginla isn't netting 60 goals we're criticizing his every play and quite frankly, it's disgusting.
Iginla always has a slow start. And every year he turns it around and plays amazing hockey. This year there's been no training camp, a new coach, new system, and a whole group of new players. He's learning how to best be productive out there. Can you find a little patience in you while he gets his game together?
I am embarrassed for this fan base some times. Think of the message we put out. We're so unsupportive of our superstars let alone our regular players.

Hudler is very smart about winning board battles and stealing pucks back. He knows when to step up and take a stick away to isolate the puck.

Time to stop with this crap. Iggy has been rewarded handsomely for playing here, get a grip.

I respect the body of work of previous players. I respect that Iginla has dedicated 15 years of his life to one team, one city. If an employee of mine makes a mistake after 15 years of hard work, do I fire him on the spot? Do I yell at him constantly? Well, I might make my concerns known. But I certainly won't be breathing down his neck.
It goes beyond Iginla, too. You constantly hear complaints about Glencross, about Giordano. In the end, we're lucky to have any sort of star talent the way some people act.
Human beings make mistakes. Sometimes being a fan is hard. It appears the irrationalities of being a fan are hard for some people to control on this forum.

this really deserves a slow clap.
clap.... clap........... clap................
anyways,
i am glad blair jones is a flame, like the way he plays. He's just always go go go. good to watch.
