My main floor ceiling is showing some water marks (5 year-old home). Ive traced one source dripping off of the plumbing vent tube in the upstairs bathroom but unsure about the second.
Who is best to bring in to ID and solve these problems: roofer, plumber or other?
Also what is the best way to remove the marks, can it be touched up or would the whole ceiling need to be painted or, at worst, replaced?

Looking to replace the bathroom fans in all three of my bathrooms. They are old and not sucking out enough air.
Any recommendations of what fan to buy or which installer/company to talk to?
Naturally, if the install is on the easier side, I'd like to do it myself to save some money.
Thanks in advance.

I would start with a plumber. I reckon it's not the roof as you don't have upstairs damage, unless you are in a bungelow.
To fix it, there is a product painters/restoration companies use. It is called Killz hoome depot sell it. But I would not use it for a large area.

Bathroom fans are annoying to replace (because of drywall trim) but easy enough you can do it
1. remove the screws and pull off the plastic cover.
2. Put tape on fan light switch to ensure no one touches (Circuit Breaker will likely be on the same Circuit as bathroom lights which we want on)
3. Remove marettes from wires and break the existing splices.
4. Remove Trim/Clips holding fan into drywall ceiling.
5. Drop out Unit and feed wires through the knockout hole ect.
6. Guide Wires through new Knockout hole in new Fan.
7. Put in Trim/Clips to hold Fan in drywall ceiling.
8. Re-splice wires with Linesman pliers, Black to Black, White to White, Bare Copper to Green Jumper/Bare Wire/Ground Screw.
9. Add Marettes, Put in final Trim/Screws
10. Test

Yep pretty much, it's all about the ability to score booze a year before everyone else back at home can.

I'm looking to use the optical bay in my laptop to install a SSD drive.
It seems you need one of those "Optical Hard Drive Caddys"
Any body know where I can find one of these? only online from some dude in Hong Kong?

I think your keyword of "optical" is messing up your search. Memory Express sells them; here is one:

The airport has an economy lot that isn't a bad deal but is often full. Not sure on 2 week rates though.
I've parked with Park and Jet the last few times, they are the closest to the airport. It is about $9 or $10 per day and each time I've been dropped off and picked up without waiting more than just a few minutes. Not sure what their weekly rates are.

Edit: never mind, I found a way to do it.

First thank you to everyone who chimed in on what to do in Ottawa: had a blast.
Question:
How do you check your NHL 12 stats on a PS3, I've been trying to figure this one out for quite some time now.
Thanks,

I did the one in my bathroom. i put in a very strong one and the bathroom mirror doen't even fog up during a shower.
It was a pain as I had to go in through the attic although that gave me a chance to see what a shat job in insulators and original fan installer did.

What are these things? I was moving bricks from the side of the house today and hundreds of these little bugs came crawling out. They're roughly 1cm in length.

I don't know if Calgary has one, but at Edmonton International there is an awesome lot where you drive up, give them your keys and drop off your luggage. They look after it all and the next time you see your bags is in the arrivals terminal at your destination. Get this, they check you in, so no lines at the terminal for you.
I think it's called JetSet Parking. It's the most amazing service and you'll love droping off your bags and not worrying about them until you arrive at your destination. A few months ago they screwed up (nothing serious) and couldn't find out car so we waited for 20 minutes. Wham, free parking the next time we came.
Oh, did I say that they monitor your flight and when they shuttle you back, your is sitting right there. In winter, it's warmed and ready to go. I'm not sure if they washed it, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Check to see if Calgary has JetSet and if it's the same as Edmonton's. You can thank me later.
It's not that expensive either for what you get, which is a lot.
Edit: Crap, I feel like I've just revealed my best fishing lake and best pickup lines. Oh well, go for it.

Discount has read my blog and the Alberta Director of Operations has called me and asked what they can do to make things right.
Since insurance is paying for the rental I'm not "out of pocket" anything, but it was a crappy experience and a real pain in the posterior; I missed time at work, I had to wash the car and clean the interior of windows.
I've asked for some time to think about it. So CP, any suggestions?

I did some reading and did not find a good answer. But the short of it is, because sound moves through a medium, if gravity affects that medium, than the sound will also be affected. How it is affected depends on many factors.
