Reminds me of Rene Bourque, a lot of speed on skates with no ability to finish, and little to no defensive skill. Also he demonstrated no chemistry with any of the other forwards. Unclaimed, he is headed to the Rock.

Bourque could finish - he had 27 goals twice in Calgary. he was just one of the laziest players I’ve ever seen.

When I think of Bourque, speed is not something that comes to mind.

Gio, during his Blackhawk tenure, he had one good year 16 goals, the 7 and 10, mostly on a 2nd line. Just not good enough.


CalgaryFan... he showed amazing bursts of speed in the O-zone. Not so much coming back.

I recall Bourque having decent speed, but couldn't turn going fast. Just a straight line skater.
