What an absolute joke in OT. Classic NHL “game management.”

Frustrating that penalties/non-calls can't be challenged. Yikes that was bad. Fun game to watch, too bad about the outcome.

Absolutely furious at the two non calls and especially the trip on backs that started the odd man rush. You gave them the extra point refs good job.
What a run for the GDT, I’ll happily keep it up but I know there are posters who can do such a better job than me on my phone at 5 am lol. Either way!
Go flames go, let’s not forget that even though we lost we are seeing a special team playing right now and it’s incredibly fun to watch.

Un fortunate. Put it behind and don't look back. That will be the telling story.

Pretty terrible but missed calls happen

That wasn't a missed call. It was a non call. It's the refs managing the game instead of just doing their jobs and letting the game manage itself.

Who is this spineless loser defending the refs?
Are Sportsnet that neutered they can’t say it was a bad call on a regional flames broadcast?
I’ve heard Chris Collinsworth call out nfl refs for bad calls, without any hesitation, during the highest rated show on television.

Bounces are one thing. Flames did not lose on a bounce.

Great game except for the score. Move on and take The full 2 points from Dallas on Thursday

It was a pretty fun game. Too bad the refs turned a blind eye to an incredibly obvious trip to gift wrap the game to Nashville. And the interference wasn't terrible.....but......if you call the exact same lame call against Dube then that's a penalty too. You can't just stop making calls in OT for the heck of it.
Otherwise the Flames were by far the better team. Should have won, but what can you do. Get ticked off about this one, come out flying next game.

I was okay with the reffing, except that last play, but man we spend so many nights in the NHL talking about the reffing. It amazes me how often the refs are major players in deciding the outcome of the games. They should be as relevant as the penalty box gate. Just do your job.

Meh, move onto the next game. That is how Pittsburgh probably felt. We outplayed Nashville big time.
Reffing I thought was fair until OT. No idea how they miss that trip unless there's another angle that shows him falling on his own.

Me feeling too.
I felt fine with a point tonight, but the way it ended with missed calls makes it sting.

Good lesson tonight on just simplifying your game.
Great part is they didn't get snubbed of points. In seasons past they 100% would.
Hope Johnny and Elias in particular take a couple things away from this about how to best go about getting the puck to the net.

The bright spot with the result is that the Flames still got a point and Sutter can probably use this to motivate the team like in '04 when he said the league didn't care about the Flames

That was easily the most undeserved win I've seen from a team that isn't named the Oilers. Preds had no business whatsoever winning that game.
Flames definitely deserved a better fate, as they were the far better team for 60 minutes, but unfortunately ran into a hot goalie. Not much to complain about in this one, other than the two blatant missed calls in OT.
Anyway, ya gotta love this team's effort level right now. If the Flames can keep playing like that every night, they'll win a lot of games.

I thought the officiating was good until OT when every bit of interference is more impactful.
