Sucks that Smith had to go back to sucking. Time to run with Rittich now. I will be pissed off with Peters if this Smith being number one farce lingers. Smith should be fine in relief duty during the playoffs as he is able to play well in bursts, but he should be the backup forever from now on.

There is NO WAY you can not pull Smith after that 2nd goal when you can pull Rittich after his giveaway on his 2nd goal.

You have to teach this idiot a lesson and that you can't play dman 40 times a game. I don't give a crap the Islanders found it hard to play against his puck handling. Rittich would have won both those games also.

I hope this m]means Rittich gets a few starts now.

Flames deserved better and were the better team but goaltending cost them dearly.

Brutal. Embarrassing that we lost that game on Iggy night. I'm pissed off.

Perspective is good, but the Flames deserved to win this one. By far the better team that faced a hot goaltender while the Flames themselves couldn't stop a beach ball.

Somebody shoot Smith into the sun please. Biggest night of the season, honouring a great, and he lays a god damn egg. Complete control of the game till he tries to play D on the 2nd goal.

I don't get very mad anymore but this was a special night and he freaking blew it. He better not get any playoff starts. Sieve.

Mike Smith’s crappy goaltending: just when I thought I was out they pull me back in.

Less than 20 games of Mike Smith left to muck up and then he's finally gone. It's almost upon us, boys.

(this is perhaps wishfully thinking he sees no time at all in the playoffs if this is what we can expect.)

Oh well. Hopefully just a blip on the radar.
Wild struggled to hit twenty shots despite a full 5 man PP. Two goals should be enough to win or at least get a point in a game like that. Couple defensive break downs, although Andersson's pinch only happens on a team that's trailing, but regardless.. piss poor goaltending.

Anyone have time to run the footage, see how many goals have come directly because of Smith's terrible puck handling?

eeeehhhh you win 7 games in a row, you're eventually going to crap the bed. The important thing is to see what kind of game the Flames play against the the stinking leafs.

The biggest positive besides the awesome jersey requirement for Iggy is this.

Minny's win puts them 7 points up on the Oilers again

HA HA HA HA HA
