While I appreciate the viewpoint, research seems to move very slow when it comes to dietary habits. Saturated fats and dietary cholesterol still get a bad rep from many official government sponsored studies by valid people in the field, and yet there are a lot of recent studies that have shown that neither is as bad as people make it out to be. In fact dietary cholesterol might even have zero to do with your HDL and LDL levels. But again, it seems to take years and years before the research field officially changes their recommendation or gets the government to change the food guide. Aren't we still stuck on 60% of your diet should be carbs?
