If anything, this is a great opportunity for the Als to find their next quarterback. It's obvious that they're average at best without Calvillo and he wont be around much longer. May as well figure out if that next QB is on the current roster.

Yep this will be a good time to evaluate Leak and see if he has what it takes to be a CFL starter. He was a winner in college but doesn't fit the prototypical NFL QB mold so he never got a sniff. He may have a place in the CFL. Troy Smith of the Ravens is another guy who IMO would be a terrific CFL QB.

Adrian McPherson is a very capable backup to AC who is currently on the nine gamer and the team said he likely would be ready after their tilt vs. BC.

Also hearing they are going to bring in Kerry Joesph for a workout sometime this week.

Kerry Joseph is really hot and cold. With the receiving corps in Montreal it should be interesting to see if he gets back to his old form and winning.

Stampeders have signed import defensive back Ahmad Carroll to a contract.

The 27-year-old from Atlanta was a first-round (24th overall) pick of the Green Bay Packers in the 2004 NFL draft.

That guy took so many holding and PI calls with the Packers that they started making him wear boxing gloves in practice. It still didn't help and they finally cut him after a couple of years. I am not too excited about him, but who knows?

Does anyone have another working link to this video? It appears CTV pulled this within a few hours of it being posted. I have a few fellow eskie fans who want to see this. Thanks.

It was pretty epic which is why they probably took it down. You could tell that since he's now not an employee he's just letting it rip like a fan. I would imagine it was taken down at the request of the Eskimos.

Hell ya. Cheering for the riders would be like cheering for the canucks.

Have to. The Riders are the only team that can take home field advantage from the Stampeders in the playoffs.

Mace has been compared to Aaron Hunt...the consensus is he can/will be an impact player. Hopefully he plays next week.

I'd bet we see him in limited action in the LD rematch, and then ready to go after that.

The guy needs to get accustomed not only to a new system, but a whole new GAME... that takes longer than a week of practice IMO, and the Stamps have the luxury of not having to throw him in there.

Again, the race for least incompetent between Eskimos, Lions, and Bombers is on.

This is disgusting, but go Green.
