I love how they then looked at the phantom high stick again several minutes later at a different angle.
Thought Hughson was brutal tonight. Some probably didn't think so because we're we winning for the majority of the game, but the guy is so bad when he's beloved Canucks are playing.

Yep, way better tonight. No issues on this side. Last game was terrible, but tonight was just fine.

Compared to the last two games he was good. There were a couple moments but I'll take it, all things considered.

Things you learn on the Nucks board:
The hits on Bennett and Gaudreau were legal. Ferland was charging all night. Bieksa won that fight and they love him for it. It's still Willie's fault. Horvat = Bennett.

Hughson and Simpson really had to swallow a lot of pride when they barely admitted to Burrows being the instigator in that fight with Russell.
It took about 4 replays for that to happen.

My sister and I immediately thought of this:
Overall, great game. Backlund with his strongest effort in a while (minus the penalty). All four lines were pressing the entire game. Saw more from Gaudreau and Monahan this game but Hudler is still struggling.
Hamhuis, Bieksa, and Burrows should all be suspended.

In regards to the PBP, you could tell it was like pulling his own teeth out with plyers every time he had to say such things as: "This boiling cauldron" (swear he had to hold his vomit back) or anything else regarding the C of Red. There was some disdain there for certain.
Saying that though. Who cares? let the fan boy call his game. has absolutely zero bearing on the outcome and the best part is yet to come when he and Simpson will have to swallow all that bile when they congratulate the Flames and the C of Red on a heck of a series win.
That will be the cherry on top.

That's the biggest question coming out of tonight, but Lack pretty much kept this game from being really out of control.

Back from game.
Probably the best, start to finish, the crowd has been, maybe even better then 2004. Helps that the game really had no low spots, but the crowd was into it a lot more and a lot more aware.
Fantastic.
107k for 50/50 to the winner too.
Not sure if the TV cameras caught it, but after a scrum in the second, Engelland was talking with Edler I think and holding up three fingers then four, and could lip read "I'll take 4 or 4 of you on" probably after starting the conversation reminding him that he took 2 on last game.
What an absolute beauty. As is Ferland of course.

Yeah he kept it close - and if you go with Miller, you are taking a major risk not knowing how sharp he is right now.
