Either way you burn a pick in a trade or selecting him in the draft, unless you plan on signing him as ufa.

Gibson as our 5, 6, 7 pick is something I'm on board with.

Kind of selfish given he has only one year left on his deal and will likely be dealt at the deadline anyway. In one year he will be able to sign anywhere he wants.
