These haters, even "professional" ones just NEED to shut their traps.

None other than Glenn Healy. Shut the f--- up Glenn. You are nothing but a Flames hating dirt bag. Probably because we used to light him up so much back in his playing days.

This is almost Orange Julius level, but I was searching the Bruins' beat writer's Twitter for some insight from the other side and found this:
Joe Haggerty @HackswithHaggs 4h
@adam_thompson12 Feaster had zero control or say in that process. It was all Iginla and Murray Edwards

Why should such a person with clearly no respect for the organization have season tickets to watch its team?! He doesn't deserve to sit in the stands at the games. If he had a single scrap of decency he would give them up to some real fans, and gtfo. Not professional at all. Like really, what a piece of work.

Gee, an analyst tearing apart how the flames have managed things? A real shocker. Great post!

Check before you post. It was not Hrudey, it was Glenn Healy.

Rhudey is a huge Flames fan, and it's not surprising to hear him react this way as a Flames fan the way many on here are reacting, if that's who it actually was.

Someone has to take the fall when things go south and sure as hell isnt going to be King or Edwards. Remember, corporate excrement always flows downhill.
The real question is: Why would anyone accept that GM position under those conditions?

I wonder if the Flames could buy Poile from Nashville? Although he is getting up there is years and I wonder if he'd even want to move into a pressure cooker.
Conte and Nill are the usual suspects, but both seem content where they are.
Every time the GM issue comes up, Hakan Loob always gets mentioned too, but I think that ship said a long time ago.
Burke is probably the best bet for this team.

Not commenting on King's interview in any way -- that primetime with McGowan show is the most obnoxious dorky looking show I've ever seen. I picture those guys like a bunch of D & D players sitting around talking about wizardry or something. They seem like total tools to me for the most part. Not to mention its Toronto media, who is always trying to drum up controversy as well as never giving the Flames the time of day except to rip them. Again, I'm not absolving the Flames of any wrongdoing in the way they handled it, but I don't hold the opinion of that guy or that show in any type of high regard whatsoever.

What do you mean you picture them, they are on tv!
McCown's the best interviewer there is out there.
The last 3 days he owned Tillman, Melnyk and King. Melnyk more voluntary, he just says stupid things everywhere.

In Feaster's case, because the only other job he could hope for in the hockey world was to go back to blogging for THN.

One day I would like to see Iginla, Conroy and Gelinas running this team. At least then we'd have a little respect throughout the league instead of being a gong show.
Iginla - President
Conroy - GM
Gelinas - Coach

If it was Hrudey (I know Healy was on yesterday) I think he actually does have Flames tickets and if not he goes to a lot of games as he does live here.

OT but Melnyjs I am going to prove Cooke meant it stuff was ridiculous. The sad thing is he seems to think it will work and that people are going to care.

Conroy - President (His PR skills are much more suited to President)
Genlinas - GM (Hockey guy as a GM is always a good thing and from all accounts he is very proffessional)
Iginla - Coach (Every Player would look up to him and listen, although I would hate for his reputation to be tarnished because we calgary folk tend to be very hard on our coaches.)
So yeah like the idea, but the order of employment is different in my brain than yours.

That would be fun around here when we had to fire the coach.

Nice!
Honestly King is still 50% accountable for the moves D Sutter made and alot of people here feel that those trades were terrible. The interview he had after they let Darryl go in which he himself said that he was 50 % accountable for all those trades. I remember thinking that if he was just as responsible why is he still employed and Darryl isn't?
