Custom Usertitles?

I love these threads--because they're always filled with posters who pretend not to want custom user titles, but who secretly crave the recognition and uniqueness that only the mods can bestow. So they post their ideas, trying not to sound desperate, pretending to play hard to get, when it's obvious that we'd all like nothing more than for Jiri, photon, ken or KevanGuy to acknowledge that they recognize our existence, that in this weirdly narrow social universe, they admit that we exist, that our presence registers with them somehow.

I have to think this sort of attention makes a mod's life worth living.

Wait just a darn minute. I see what's going on here. You come in, all custom titleless, and spurt your rhetoric about being recognized in narrow universes and the like, all the while preaching that these said folks are groveling for the attention of the mods.... while the whole time, you actually WANT a custom title that says 'doesn't like custom titles', even though you clearly try to appear that you don't!!

Haha, I was trying to figure out a way to post in here like the others in an attempt to get some kind of usertitle, and in the end everything sounded about as bad as the other posts. You just can't do it without sounding dumb.

Oh well, I'm unique in my own special way. Smallest username on the board.

I think I'm going to make a post full of quotes in this thread that are obvious attempts to get a custom user tile, without actually sounding like they want.....

Heyyy, don't throw me in that pile. I was actually trying to be nice telling dude to quit fishing. Now I'm all hurt.

Another poster made the point better, but duh, of course a thread like this will devolve into a mad scramble trying to get a custom title. It would make one feel like they were part of the group etc. Meh, I pass, I'll take what comes and that's the way it is.
