Just keep him in AAA till the kid sorts his head out.

I agree. I read that he has made some changes to his delivery hoping to increase control and also help avoid injuries. Let him iron out those kinks and show consistency before bringing him back up.
I think Hatch will be back soon too, whether they use him as a starter, a piggy backer or a long man out of the pen I'm not sure, but any of those options should be a nice boost to the staff I hope.

Agreed. Trying to figure things out the majors is not a likely recipe for success for him. Disappointing that he is struggling but it happens - Halladay and Carpenter both hit some pretty rough patches along their development path. Hopefully, the adversity will make him stronger.

The dumbest part of the play was not having the second baseman cover first.

So so many dumb things by the defense on that play.
All 1B has to do is backup and touch the bag, but even after forgetting that, he can just keep walking forward until he tags the runner, but even forgetting that, and throwing the ball to the catcher, the catcher can just tag the batter, instead of the guy coming from third, and then even if you forget that, you could have had the second baseman backing up on first base to which you can make an easy throw.

Yup.
It wasn't some amazingly smart play by Baez....it was just a comedy of errors from Pittsburgh.
I guess Baez kind of lured him into it, but really it was 100% luck and mistakes on Pittsburgh part that turned it into anything

30+ pitch first inning for Ryu.
That's not ideal or characteristic of him at all.

Poor kid.
Horrible weather and the Jays are completely obliterating his subpar pitches.

If Gurriel can get hot and stay hot.... oh lawdy. That's what? One through six that you can't throw around? Then you have Kirk and Springer come back and oh dear I've made a mess.

Why don't they just call it? Ugly conditions, blowout for the Jays, enough is enough.

Help, save, whatever.

I'm just a casual Jays fan but I feel like ALL of their series have been against teams above .500.
This has to be one of the toughest schedules in the league.

Nice. Get the win and only have to play 7 innings again.
Bullpen is getting lots of rest.
Hit parade was in full force tonight.

A second woman is alleging sexual misconduct by Roberto Alomar in 2014, prompting the Toronto Blue Jays to launch an investigation into what happened and how it was handled by the team.
The woman, Melissa Verge, alleged in a story published Friday by the Toronto Star that Alomar propositioned her for sex and pressed his body into hers without consent while she was working as a volunteer at a youth baseball camp run by the Blue Jays. Verge was 18 at the time; Alomar was 46.
Verge told the Star that she told Rob Jack, a team official at the time and a friend of Alomar's, about what happened. The Blue Jays say Jack did not inform any other members of the team or notify human resources about the allegations. He was fired by the team a year later.
