Hope Bruton is OK.

Looks like it's almost Brock time, get ready to watch the best handoff technique in the league!

I gotta think the Raiders (and others) will make a strong push for Harbaugh. 44-19-1 in four years is 44-19-1 in four years, I'd be giving him full control if I was a loser team like Oakland or Tampa Bay or the Jets or Tennessee.

Nope, he'll be coaching Michigan.

Definitely. I think Carr will be a good QB for a long time.

Seattle defense won today's game against the always tough Rams.

3 turnovers by the Rams, including an Irving INT, and Earl Thomas knocking the ball away from a Ram on the 6 inch line.

6 wins in a row, 8 of their last 9, top team in the NFC again. Defense really came on when Wagner got back in and Chancellor was back at 100% which was at the midpoint in the season and pulled this team up to those 8 of 9 wins.

A game against DET,ARI or CAR in a couple weeks at home.

Man, I really wanted to put money on Carolina to win the Super Bowl before today's game but couldn't get action anywhere.

Smith can thank Seattle choking in the last minute a couple years back in the last minute, for the extra 2 years of employment he had with the Falcons.

Harbaugh will be back in 2-3 years, I am sure he's going to have an out clause after a few years to come back to NFL.

Trestman too cerebral to be an NFL head coach. Co-oridnator maybe.

Rex will land, either with a team, or with TV. His brother may be looking for work too, given the Saints 1st to worst defense.
Why is Marone gone, they've had a good season.

I see Panthers are now 18/1 to win the NFC.

New team owners. Possibly new GM, who will likely want a new coach.

Harbaugh and 49ers officially agreed to mutually part ways, so no compensation if he goes somewhere else to the NFL (which is unlikely now - Rooney rule notwithstanding).

I'll take that. I see a Dallas-Hawks for the NFC championship.

Dallas scares me.

Has a coach in his prime with this success ever gone back to college? Seems a strange move.

48 million dollars is hard to turn down....not to mention that IF he goes tback to his Alma Mater and turns around what has become a dumpster fire of a program......he will become legendary in Michigan.

If he does take the Michigan job, its pretty easy to understand why.

I think he wants full control of the roster or at least with a GM he's on the same wavelength, there isn't that many organizations at the NFL level that want to give one person that sort of control.

Plus, his super intense/emotional/theatric style probably has a bit of a shelf life with NFL players and to those above him he has to work with.

He'll be back in the NFL soon enough though if he goes.

Early line for the NFC games...

At Dallas -7 Detroit 48.5

At Carolina -5 Arizona 38.5

hmm maybe. I think if you're going to be the best you have to win at the best level. He nearly won a Super Bowl. He could have gone to the Jets. Winning a Super Bowl there would be legendary too.
