Suck it Habs.
That's a nice way to see it. So the turn around started earlier!

I’ve heard things like “it’s no Rembrandt” when referring to an ugly win.
Three separate quotes below:

Travis Green, on tonight's win: "A famous coach once told me that you don't always paint a portrait, sometimes you paint a barn."

Are the Lightning unlucky? Or should they ‘paint the barn’ like the Islanders?

“Where the situation calls for you just to paint the barn, the time on the clock, the score or whatever,” Trotz said. “You just have to paint the barn, you don’t have to paint a Picasso.”

It seemed Chucky he had quite a few giveaways by my count. Don't know what the official stats are though.

Not worried about Lindholm, Monahan or Tkachuk.

Johnny has all the skill in the world. He’s a difference maker skill wise.

Looks to me like he is unwilling to pay any kind of physical price. Not just contact, defensive effort etc.

Sad part is...his teammates know it. Just my observation and opinion.

I’ll be. I’ve heard of barn paining before in hockey. But not the Picasso thing.

The internet wins

Johnny is driving the Flames offense right now.
I can't see how you can ask for more.

Do you want more than first round knockouts?

Since it is obviously possible to win or lose a playoff series in game 7 of the regular season, it is equally obvious that Gaudreau is not doing enough. He has to single-handedly win the Stanley Cup in January, dammit!

I’m talking about since Jan 20 2019.

Again, IMO!

Hanafin seems to have quietly taken a massive step this year. He looks really good.

I think he’s been the second best Dman this year, after Tanev. Probably because of Tanev too.

Everyone else is talking about this season, and specifically this game, for which this thread is the PGT.

So i prepared beef bourguignon and poached salmon tonight for my residents. I thought it was a great meal but i always have this 1% of the residents that always complains no matter how great the meal is. Not enough this or too much of that. I guess you cant please everyone with the effort 😅

That was some impressive shot blocking by the Flames.

Even better was the goaltending by Markstrom. Not often do you see the Flames win a goaltending battle with the opposition team.

Lindholm led the Flames in ice time and they won the game.

I don't agree with your take.
