I remember that on the worst offensive team in league history he was the best playmaker we have had since Makarov. God awful coaching by Dogbert and it resulted in the worst trade in Flames history by David Schwimmer. Sr.
I liked him even before he was a Flame when he was with the Rangers.

I was jumping up and down, cheering as hard as when Gelinas scored the OT goal against the Canucks, as when Marchment ended his own career kneeing Allison. hahahaha. Allison! he was made of glass! Karma is awesome.

Seems really odd that they wouldn't start this series on Thursday...there are no conflicts at Consol and they would still get the Saturday night date...so much for hustling to get the season done...

While I agree that Rask is a really good goalie behind a really good defensive team, he will have to be Kipper '04 on steroids the whole time and I think it's gonna be too much. When you got Crosby, Malkin, Neil, Iginla, Kunitz, Letang, Dupuis comin at ya shift after shift, Pens on the PP, it's gonna be nothing like he has ever seen before. Volkoun will just have to be solid.
Pens in 4 straight.

As much as some people think the Pens will struggle with the Bruins' physicality, I think the Bruins will equally struggle with the Pens' high powered offense. They looked good against a low scoring team like the Rangers, but looked bad against the more offensively talented Toronto. The Pens are going to a couple notches above the Leafs in terms of offense. Rask will have to play lights out for the Bruins to have a chance.
With that said, Pens in 5. I want to see Iggy in the finals and win a cup so bad. Make it happen Pittsburgh!

Which is excellent because we get hockey right up until the draft, no lull like there usually is.

Bold predicion. I can't see a sweep but I agree with you about the depth of the Pens. I also think Crosby is going to be rounding into form (if he wasn't already) and will dominate the series. Best player in the world with an all star cast. Pens in 6.

I'm sure it's been joked about to death but how good of a thread title would "the team we traded Iggy to vs. the team we traded Iggy to". But anyways, I don't feel like Boston's inexperience at defence gives them as much depth as some seem to think, and some people seem to be projecting fleury's troubles on vokoun but I'd say he's been as solid as a team like his needs. Pitt in 6

Don't know if it's been mentioned but aren't all 4 teams Iginla said he'd waive to in the final 4?
