Loved seeing Cochran win the immunity challenge last night. He's definitely one of the remaining people that I'm rooting for since I'm out of the pool.
It's going to be interesting now to see what Malcolm does now since he's detached himself from that Favorites alliance.

Tough not to have blue bikini on the show anymore.
She was my favourite.

That was a great bit of scrambling and props to Dawn on learning from her last mistake.

Corinne had a fantastic ass.
They get rid of it for Sherri, who has a horrid body.
Damn you survivors. The blonde is hot, but there is something about her eyes that throws me off, there too far apart, but sometimes I think they're not and just angled oddly.
I get like a half chub because of the confusion.

She's so dumb. She set herself up perfectly once she got the favourites to vote out Sherri. Not only would she have had the numbers but 2 idols (might have only known about Malcolm's though) if Erik wasn't solid. The only way her plan falls to #### is if the favourite tribe gets wind of it before Sherri is voted out...Better go tell Dawn her amazing plan that ####'s over Dawn's alliance. What could go wrong?
I'd be more happy to see Cochrane, Dawn, Andrea or Brenda win it all over Corinne, Eddie, Reynolds, Michael, or Erik so I'm happy how it worked out, would like Malcolm to make it far again though.

Andrea is yummy. Liked her since redemption island.
So glad Corinne is gone.
Cochrane winning individual immunity is a survivor classic. Very happy for him.

I finally managed to watch the episode. Wow was that just stupid. Pretty simple thing to understand....don't flex your number muscles until you actually have the numbers. The first step was completed in getting everyone to agree to get rid of the one fan (whatever her name is). Once that is accomplished move on to securing the numbers. Yeesh. Just a stupid stupid move on her part.

For a 41 year old woman Sherri actually has a pretty good body. Plus she's a decent player, she's been more lucky then good recently (on the immunity winning tribe when circumstances turned against her, managed to slide onto the dominant side in a power struggle while being the next prospective person voted out) but to my eye she had the most influence in the Fan tribe pre-swap.
She's not going to win but she'll do better then any other fan now that she's got an in with the dominant faction.

Yes it was. Especially since as far as they knew so long as they got rid of Sherri they'd have the numbers... they didn't even need Dawn once Sherri was gone. Phil, Cochrane, Brenda, Andrea, Dawn (Five Votes) vs. Corinne, Michael, Erik, Malcolm, Reynold, Eddie (Six Votes). Of course we the audience knew that Erik wasn't a solid vote but the whole premise of their plan depended on him being a solid vote.
If I were to make a guess I'd say that Michael goes out tonight. He's the easiest vote... they know he doesn't have an idol and once he's gone they can pursue vote split strategies. I think it's kind of crazy that if I would say that Dawn and Cochrane (of all people) are running the game right now (Phillip thinks he is but really everybody just humors him).

Oh Malcolm... you're so screwed. Props on the giant ###### move it was entertaining but after burning both sides you've got two episodes left and that's just because you still have your idol.

I am confused as to whether Malcolm honestly thought he was going home, or if he was just trying to expose Reynold. I also couldn't believe when Reynold gave him the idol, I can believe it but just when do you see that?
Reynold is a player, I really hope they bring him back in a future season because this guy actually wants to play the game and has been playing it since day 1.
Sherri is taking the usual coat tail strategy, which has worked for some, but she is way too big of a bitch to pull it off in the end. She thinks that Phillip is her Shamar? No, she is going to end up being the Phillip to someone's Boston Robb by the end of this contest. Take the crazy bitch so everyone votes for you.

I think he did. I think he got a wave of paranoia right after the vote. I mean what did his little stunt accomplish appart from demonstrating to the Favorites that he and Reynold are still in cahoots (and thus that cutting off what they thought was the head of the snake didn't kill the body) while at the same time pissing off Reynold by wasting his idol (which he'll be more upset about when he learns that Malcolm had his own... I'm impressed that he had the gumption to weasal Reynold out of his idol 10 seconds after voting for him to leave, that was the one clever thing he did last episode. Not only did he keep himself safe and retain his idol but now no one will think that he has one of his own... someone is getting idoled out of the game this year by Malcolms hand I suspect Phillip since at this point the numbers are completely against him so he may as well idol out someone who is both against him and vaguely athletic).
The only alternative is that he was back in cahoots with the Favorites and this was all an elaborate scheme to flush the idol but his confessional at the voting station seems to contradict that and the fact that Reynold was going to waste it (on himself) anyways.
Malcolm committed the classic Survivor error... he plotted and schemed too much.

Meh, he's a player... but not a very good one. He's really good at challanges but his strategic game stinks. He keeps on aligning with the wrong side and rather then call an audible he just plows forward. When it became apparent that the Pretty People fan tribe alliance wasn't the dominant alliance rather then mend fences and change his plans all he did was complain at them. I think he could be back in a future season as he's eye candy for the ladies of the audience and he's good in challanges but he is not a good player. He told/showed people that he had an idol and then used it on someone else when he didn't have individual immunity that's an awful move compounded by a more awful move.

Probably, unless there is a really really really extremely bitter jury she won't win. She can get to end but who would vote for her? Maybe Phillip cause he's a weirdo but I don't see anyone on the prospective jury thinking that Sherri deserves the money.

I'm pretty sure Malcolm is gone in a few episodes. He's trying to do too much and not only did he lose Reynold the idol, if you watch the end credits he actually voted for him too. It would have been 6-5 and Michael would have still gone home, but the amount of plugs this season is killing me.
Honestly, outside Andrea, Philip, Malcolm and Reynold no one does anything. Cochran is sort of playing as he seems to think strategically, but everyone else is just a vote. It sucks to watch like 4 people scheme while 7 just sit around.

I actually think Dawn is playing a masterful game, and is a shoe in to win it all if she makes it to the end.
Usually I hate when middle-age floaters coast to end and find a way to win without making any real moves (like Tina in season 2 and Sandra in her two victories); but Dawn has actually make a couple great moves in the last couple episodes. Her alliance would have been on the outs if she didn't have the fortitude to expose Corrine last week. Then this week, even after she voted for Corrine, Malcolm still trusted Dawn enough to have Reynold expose his idol to her. She's done a great job at playing both sides, when really she is completely on Phillip's side.
Andrea, Phillip, and Malcolm all seem like threats to varying degrees, but no one see's Dawn as a threat yet despite the moves she has made. It's too bad it looks like she might suffer some sort of breakdown next week, as she is playing a very underrated game.

Ha I've been wondering that too. I don't even know what side of the alliances she's on or how she fits into the dynamic because she's never in for a confessional and nobody ever mentions her vote.
As for it seeming like 4 people are making moves and "playing the game" and the rest doing nothing, I think that's merely a function of how comfortable each individual feels. If you're on the right side of the numbers and no threat to be voted out, why would you "play the game"? It can be better to fly under the radar a bit, especially at this stage. Of course you have to be thinking ahead, but being overly strategic at this point is a little like being the mole that pops up waiting to get whacked.
Jeff Probst has said a few times that he thinks the best strategy is "as long as it's not me".

Truth... Except I wouldn't call it Phillips side I think that overstates his importance. Dawn is the Angel of (Survivor) Death out there... droppin' bodies left and right. She keeps on procuring information from people and then using that information to her and her alliances advantage. And Cochrane is definetly playing out there... he and Andrea came up with the solution to the Corinne problem. In a weird way her getting burned by not revealing Cochranes plan to flip last time they played together has really enabled her to play much more effectively this time since people look at her and think that she can be trusted not to blab when really this is Dawn 2.0 they're dealing with.
How I'd break them down...
Players:
Dawn
Andrea
Cochrane
Malcolm (Making moves... they all backfire but he's trying)
Half-Players:
Phillip (He's not in charge... they're just humoring him)
Reynold
Sherri
Eddie
Non-Players:
Erik
Brenda
If I had to award the money today it'd go to Dawn... but I think if she get's to finale night then she might have bitter jurers against her.

Disagree with Dawn, all she's done is rat out Malcolm's master plan and cry. She's done 0 strategizing and nothing in the the challenges.
I think Reynold's a player though, he was the only reason his tribe had a chance at the beginning and he's been active with making alliances and trying to make big moves.
