I think he still played the most minutes of the d-men though.

He did. 21:50. Marner was the only LV skater to have more.

It's still early but this could turn into a top 10 bomb trade in history for Vegas.

Only Shea Theodore had more even strength ice time out of the entire Vegas roster(plus pp time!).Dropping in that Rasmus is 3rd pair without any context is typical Dino now that Rasmus isn't a Flame. Someome cruised through nhl lines and got giddy to post.

Reason: Shea Weber had zero ice time

Everybody knows it’s actually Shea Stadium.

I can’t believe Theodore has 1 hit recorded this year. 1, as a D playing big minutes. 1.

Whitecloud was their #2 d-man. They paid a heavy price for Ras.

It's what's changed in Vegas.
With Pietrangelo, Hague, Whitecloud, Martinez, McNabb the Vegas d-core was big and mean, now McNabb is the last of those guys remaining and the d-core is soft.
They tried to replace it with Lauzon and Korzcak but those guys just aren't quite as good (although I do like Korzcak).

Yup. They had the best D corp in the NHL because they were big, physical, controlled the front of the net, and could really move the puck.
Now, they can really move the puck.

I posted it while watching the START of the game and their home announcers were talking about him on the 3rd pair and how poorly the trade had gone. Your post is the following day. He was put on the 3rd pair because him and Hanifin had played bad together...he played better yesterday and was rewarded with more ice time although like I already said he is getting the PP time as the one dman. I mean the Flames have a better record since the trade but no it has been an awesome deal for Vegas I am being a hater. 7 points and -6 playing .400 hockey is everything they hoped for. Also Shea lol.

It's a little more complex than that. They lost three games last week 2-0, 4-0, 4-1. You could have the best defense in the history of the NHL and lose all three of those games. Also their team SV% is .881 which is identical to the Oilers and they don't have a historic powerplay to offset poor goaltending. For a variety of reasons they have been a mediocre/bad team this season.

Like the sun rises in the east, dino looks for reasons to trash former Flames. Dude is more dependable than a Swiss watch.

Seven minutes at even strength in the first, three minutes in the second (1:20 on pp!)and eight minutes in the third. Don't see the narrative you're pushing of being rewarded.

Just out of curiosity if Rasmus doesn't resign In Vegas becoming a free agent how would the CP community react to a Rasmus reunion?
