I guess three late 1sts are a pretty good return for Weegar

With this many picks, this makes me REALLY wonder if the Flames' are going to try and make a huge play for the Ruck twins this June.

If it's one of Simashev or Beaudoin then it's really tidy work

I suspect Weegar will not be worth $6.25 million when he is 37.
Taking Maatta doesn't necessarily mean the Flames get more value than they did for Anderson.

By that time 6.5M is for a bottom pair dman

those 2nds are awesome assets to have.
Flames are going to be LOADED in the next few drafts. Two 1sts both this and next year, an extra 2nd in 2028. Now three more extra 2nds coming in, and that's before any Kadri or Coleman deal. This is exactly how to do it.

If all 3 2nds are this year, the Flames now have 8 picks in the top 70 in June.

3 2nd round picks with this scouting staff is huge. Will be interesting to see what the prospect is.

The fact it’s being labeled “prospect” has me feeling this is accurate. Kinda like Miromanov in the Hanifin trade.

Prospect is gonna make or break this deal. 3 2nds is solid but compared to the parakyko deal would be a lot more quantity over quality

Well, that's that. My Simashev dream is dead.

If that's the prospect then this is disappointing for sure.
You needed one premier piece if you're rushing to move Weegar like this.
3 seconds and a B prospect with a bad cap dump is not ideal
Especially with Buffalo giving up a top 10 pick and another 1st.
Quantity is fine but the quality is lacking here

Anything other than an A prospect is a disappointment
