Much better period! USA lucky to be tied after two. Intentional or not, USA parking the bus but you can’t beat a team with Canada’s firepower 1-0.
And MacKinnon still having a tough game relative to standards - the rhino is going to be trampling in the third.

Canada has been so much better than them. Just shot their own foot off with a couple bad giveaways, usa has created one good chance themselves all game - also not getting any puck luck around the net.
But the chicken Littles like Eric Francis saying the usa is better than us now are looking completely out to lunch.
Canada plays another period like that in the 3rd and thats all you can ask even if they dont get the breaks

With what he can do, I'm amazed he's not a 60 goal scorer every season. Maybe he's a bit like Iggy used to be - sometimes needs to get pissed off to decide he's just going to bull through a team.
