Including another goal. Not only is he now leading the NCAA in points by 8, he's tied for second in goals, only 1 off the lead.

Our 5th rounder freshman is leading the NCAA scoring by 8 points.
What the heck. Whatever Tod Button and his staff have done the past two drafts.......please keep doing it.

BU not being ranked in the top 20 with the drafted pedigree they have is wild.

No offense to the staff but if Button and his scouts thought he was even close to this good they wouldn't have waited to the 5th round, I'm sure he was in the territory on the flames list but I suspect him winning the inaugural Gaudreau award had the most to do with this pick.
I know they had interest in the Calgary kid Max Heise taken 5 or 6 spots later, I was shocked when they didn't take him, then I learned about the award that Wyttenbach got and it made sense.

No sense wasting a third if they don't think anyone else will draft him first.

Devon Toews:
Abram Wiebe:
Toews was a year younger than Wiebe was in each of these seasons, but thought it was interesting how similar their progressions have been at similar levels of hockey. Not expecting Wiebe to be a top pairing guy of course, but the Andersson deal would look even better if Wiebe could make it as a solid bottom pairing D

I'm still so gutted for Potter. 16 point in his last 9 games. Dude was getting ready to go on a tear in the second half.
