I mean, there is a lot of childish activity in here at times.

I have a 213 month old heading to MRU next year and a 195 month old heading into her senior year of High School.

This post reminded me of a sports journalist here in Sweden. A couple of years ago, while commenting a top tier soccer game he said something like:

"And X i running around in midfield, chasing opponents as aggressively as a kindergarten virus. There´s no escaping him".

I'll play. 2 girls, grade 11 and 3rd year in Kinesiology at U of C. Both chose hockey young and still play so I still get to be a hockey Dad....but the clock is ticking sniff sniff.

My son is 25 and my first grandson was born Jan 6.

My sister's first grandson was born just 7 minutes after, crazy.

Hey, soccer is a lovely sport too!

It’s all good, you’re doing an amazing job with your hockey draft analysis.

Maybe one day they can at least get into fantasy hockey!

This is the most wholesome this thread has ever been.

I am childless aside from two cats the wife had before me

I just turned 31 a couple weeks ago. Yes, that means I joined this forum at the ripe age of 17. Was a lurker as a teenager.

Wife, no kids, couple dogs. MBA school keeping me busy.

(To stay on topic, I’d love to see a poll of keeping/retaining Whitecloud, perhaps on a separate thread).

I'll trade my unbearable 19 year old daughter for a couple of draft picks.

This, as well as that other time when a bunch of lurkers logged in to say hello when we were waiting results of a trade (i cant recall which trade now).

I'd rather hear about everyone's children than the constant trade bickering in this thread. Learning a little bit about each poster in here helps add a bit of personality to otherwise random individuals and maybe(?) helps stop the instant hostility during some more heated arguments. No kids here but I never wanted them to begin with. Still tired all the time though?

My Daughter is 9 and was born 8 days before Johnny signed his contract extension after his contract holdout in 2016.

Don't they know what kind of state a trade freeze puts a fanbase in? They really have to take that into consideration next time.

Right? How many children will be conceived due to the boredom? Like the ice storm babies.

Logged in this morning to see what CP is occupying now that we are in the dark three weeks lol. Went back to see what I missed on everyone trade stuff and then had a huge smile reading everyone's kids/life updates.

Turning 57 this year ... 4 boys. I was always tired as they grew up, but that was more from working 3-4 jobs at a time while going through school to get my Master's degree. Did find the time to be a super Calgary Flames fan from the beginning as we had season tickets when I was growing up. We drove from Lethbridge for every game - my dad would take me out early from school every game day and we would drive to Calgary, eat at Smuggler's Inn for their prime rib, and then go to the game, and drive home.

Have lived in the USA since I was 19, so I had to force hockey on my kids through watching them on TV ... they became huge fans in the 2004 run and still are to this day. Proud father moment there! So grateful that we can stream/watch the games together sometimes, and are able to watch all the games on TV. Back in the day, I had to wait until they were on national TV down here in the states - luckily there were pretty good in those early days and we could more of our fair share of Flames games on TV.

Anyways... hope everyone enjoys their kiddos .. they (and by default me too) grow up way too fast.
