There's something called an I-94. It used to be a slip of paper they'd give you to put in your passport but now it's digital. Every time you enter the U.S. this tracks when you got in and where.

Never going back. I can't think of a realistic series of events that would be enough for me to think that everything since 2016 didn't happen, or didn't matter.

There are zero issues if you are white. I don't know that I've seen/heard of a single instance of ICE demanding papers from non protesting whites, anywhere. Which is just as they want it, here in this version of America. Any version of America?
Not advocating you come visit, but that's more individual protest than security reasons.

This after the courts already ruled that she had no authority in the role she was handed, and she had to stop acting as an attorney, and her continuing to do so. Judge went after Bondi earlier today.

I looked it up and was a little surprised that there have been quite a few white people picked up by ICE as well. Obviously not at the same rate as non-whites.

It seems to happen mostly at border crossings and not just off the street in non-border towns though.

Oh I have no doubt there might be potential issues for anyone at land borders. I wouldn't expect many by air. I was more referring to feet on the ground after arrival.
Again, I'm not advocating traveling here, for lots of reasons.

It's crazy to see Trump is, on the one hand, a crazy old man yelling at clouds while, on the other hand, is basically like a teenager on social media, feeding off likes and comments when he posts something outrageous.

He's long since learned he can literally say whatever he wants, even if clearly untruthful, and never have to answer for it. Reporters ask him questions, but they never fact check him on follow up, or even ask him what we're all thinking: "um, what are you even talking about? This makes no sense". His staffers and sycophants like Rubio, Leavitt are then left to sane-wash his ramblings or, if untenable, just say that the president was obviously joking.

Elected by a populace with whom his d#####y attitude and cluelessness resonates, the whole world now has to suffer through this bizarre social experiment again, but with everything on the line from global security to the global economy.

Trump for his part probably just knows he's gonna be dead in ten years so wants to watch the world burn on his way out (because he was inexplicably put in a position to do so).

The company I work for imports item from China. We were talking about going there, but one of guys said he'd be afraid of going there and not being allowed to leave for some reason.
I said I'd be more worried about going to the states and having something happen there than in China. On top of that, there aren't more guns than people in China like in the US.
On top of that, the requirement to have your picture taken upon entry to the US seems pretty scammy to me. I mean, Americans won't care when that information is leaked or sold because it doesn't affect Americans. I don't expect that Q-Tip Stephen Miller to care, or anyone else in that administration to do anything that is right. Putin and his internet rolls probably have the images three minutes after the photo is taken.
