Bahl had almost a minute more ice
And Andersson had more time last game
Same opportunity for the youngsters, and maybe more since Brz was on PP1

When did Bahl start playing the right side?
You CC fans are becoming delusional

When you did say "most time on the ice...on the right side"?

Whitecloud tonight played less time than Andersson’s average ice time when he was here. That left more minutes for the other players at that position.
Why is this hard for you to understand?

But this was you yesterday. Not really that whiney, but no less whiney than most of the posters you're calling out for being whiney. Everyone jumps over themselves to call out anyone who doesn't speak only positive opinions, but also everyone wants to say their piece when it's them, but that's different. Your pessimistic take was even quoted and lauded after the trade went down for "calling it".

My bet is the Bruins deal will fall through because in the end they won't be able to come to terms on an extension. Ras might want to extend there, but it's possible they won't agree to his contract ask.
My guess is after all of this, he'll end up going somewhere as a rental for a late 1st and some mid prospect. Then in the off season he signs with Vegas for less than what he was rumored to be asking for from other teams. Vegas gets their guy on a lesser contract without having to give anything up in a trade.
And while we're happy we got a return for him in a rental trade, we get to ruminate over the speculated returns that were leaked during this whole process and the better prospects and picks we likely missed out on.

The sad thing is, the actual trade was a great deal better than what Roof-Daddy was complaining about in advance – ‘a late first and some mid prospect’.
It's a bit sad when people have to borrow things from the future to complain about… and when the future arrives, they can't afford to pay back what they owe.
Anybody who thinks Roof-Daddy ‘called it’ by leaving out the 2nd (which can convert to a 1st) and a tough right-shot #4 defenceman on a good contract… well, let's just say I would not trust them to count the eggs in my egg carton.

The point was the calling out "negative" posters for "whining" leading up to the trade. His post was not unlike any number of posters that he was calling out, and that's fine. There's a race to be positive because it's human nature to not want to hear negative feelings, unless you yourself want to express negative feelings because you're frustrated then that is separated out from the rest because it's you. Human nature.

Andersson averaged about 24 minutes a night, leaving 36 for the other two RD. Whitecloud played 22 minutes tonight, leaving 38. Last I checked, 38 was not less than 36.
Pinder is wrong about a lot of things, but I thought he could at least do simple arithmetic on two-digit numbers.

Took your team to the woodshed with Markstrom
Also, rookies played the same as always. How many rookie dmen are the 13th in the east Devils playing?

Imagine being a grown-ass adult and getting ticked off that another grown-ass adult follows more than one team in a sports league.

Currently, about 73% thinks it was break even or worse. Your stats weigh heavily into the break even numbers, as do mine. It's basically 50/50, for and against.
Which is surprising, since being on a Flames board, you'd expect many would approve simply for being a Flames fan.
I didn't like it originally because (1) it was with Vegas; (2) the Flames didn't get a very good centre prospect; and (3) I didn't fully appreciate the value of Whitecloud.
But having looked at it closer, I believe that Conroy did the best he could with a signing reluctant Andersson, certainly an acceptable job.
Regarding the ice time for rookie dmen comment, I think most of us expected that when Andersson would be traded, his ice time would go to the rookies, not a similarly aged dman. Parekh would be brought in to play etc. Getting a few extra minutes of ice time for rookies was not what we thought that meant. No one thought it meant that Whitecloud would simply not be playing more than Andersson had been playing. Based on one game, trading Andersson did not increase the ice time for rookies yet.

All I know is that Brz played about a minute and a half more than he did the previous game.

I think we all get the math of using the break even category to sway the vote from a win or loss.
But I think it's fair to point out that only 26% dislike the deal as it stands (less than 7% voted disaster level, and I'm guessing some of those would like their vote back), which is pretty interesting given the over reaction to the negative in the first few pages of this trade announcement ... and pretty much the reason for the poll.
If your first reaction is to find something wrong with everything the team does it tends to play out as an over reaction when all the info comes out, and things are assessed with a more even keel.
Additionally, if you're in the 1.4% that votes home run ... maybe you're driving a bias into a quick reaction as well.
In my mind that would point to said over reactors that maybe next time you should take a knee and have a think ... but I'm not holding my breath.
