It should be noted that his style of play has not led to him missing any serious time ever. He's only missed 4 games in the past 6 years due to being hurt in a hockey game. He missed 3 more due to being hit by a car. He's had 4 complete seasons in that time.
Noted
But that doesn’t mean much. It’s a high contact sports and nobody is exempted from injuries

When Andersson was on after hours he was asked about a few of the injuries he had. He mentioned that probably shouldn't have been playing after the incident in Detroit, because of the psychological aspect. He also mentioned that he probably shouldn't have been playing with the broken fibula last year, but in both cases they were trying to get into the playoffs.
You only have a certain number of thanks per day (I don't know how many). So you can "run out" until it replenishes at some point.
I will be disappointed though if you don't thank this post.
I’ve read posters saying this, but my thanks have been on and off like a light switch the last couple of days…weird…maybe there’s stress on the site ha ha.

Yeah, he did play with the broken bone, fair enough.
The Detroit thing is kind of irrelevant though - sitting him out doesn't save him from being hit by a car.

Mine too. I'll load a page and the thanks buttons will be gone, then reload it and they reappear. It seems to flip-flop too often to be explained by the intervals at which I would get back a ‘thanks’ (24 hours after using it the previous day, I assume).

Any second on that broadcast that can be filled with actual content is one less second for Ron to wax poetic about the “fibre of this game being woven into our national landscape” and so and so’s great auntie Petunia, who still hand knits helmet covers for the local U7 team while watching in the stands. He’s such a pretentious windbag, I’m sure everyone on the panel must roll their eyes when he’s on about this nonsense.
I’m a sucker for that stuff and no one does a better job than Ron. I’m annoyed by how much of an Oilers cheerleader he’s become but I still value his encyclopedic hockey knowledge and how he connects our national game with our national identity. There’s no one else like him, I think he’ll be missed when he’s gone.

It's likely a floating 24 hours and doesn't get reset to zero at the beginning of every day. You regain a like when its been 24 hours since an old one ages out.

I disagree very strongly with the medical/injury philosophy of this club.
I’d love to be proven wrong but Coleman is valuable but is not 1C/2C prospect level valuable. Rasmus is a top pairing RD that is younger with potential term.
I don't think any of the veterans we've been trading since Conroy started could get you someone who projects to be a 1/2 C. Maybe a 2/3C that could overachieve, but if you want that exciting young C prospect I think you just have to draft those yourself.
I think Conroy has done a great job so far and the scouts are cooking, we'll get there, but I don't know if it's realistic to hope someone hands us their future #1 C in a trade to shortcut this.

Yeah, I can't seem to make this work.
