But he's had a mediocre start in Providence this season and I wonder why he hasn't made it to the NHL full time.

I guess for the sake of fielding an NHL ready team Lohrei is included as a body replacement for Anderssen. Minten doesn't get the blood flowing for me, so no biggie not having him included as a centrepiece. But the mid-1st sounds intriguing. Hopefully it's a little more than that.

If this is actually happening with Boston, makes asense that Boston beat writer is getting information to post on Twitter that Boston is out of the race.

Probably reading too much into it, but Calgary feeding that info to him could pump up the urgency for the Bruins management to make a better offer.

He was also over PPG in the AHL last season, who knows if true but I think he is being undersold

Poitras would have been deemed untouchable 18 months ago.

I have no issues with the Flames taking a flyer on a guy Boston Fans and media were comparing to Patrice Bergeron when he was a rookie

Flames don't have a spot for him in the top 9 right now though...but there is a remedy for that too...

Poitras has the better NHL stats actually (at a younger age) and better AHL stats
