predictable outcome to what felt like another wasted season from day 1, with a 78 year old QB and a HC who's years past his due date. The Steelers need to swallow their god damn pride at some point and rip the band aid off. Treading water is no fun.

Congrats Texans. That D is legit.

Steelers need to be aggressive in an upcoming draft where there are several decent looking QB's (like 2024) and trade multiple 1st round picks to move up and get one. Short of that they should be monitoring the backup situation around the league. Maybe see what it would take to pry away Mills from the Texans.

After watching that Texans team I think the Pats run may come to an end next Sunday. It will take a near perfect game from Maye and company to beat that defence.

He didn't play that game, and we all know week 18 is glorified preseason. Chargers got after Maye pretty good and the Texans pass rush is at least three times as good. Game will likely come down to Stroud keeping his nerve and not being involved in gambling fraud.

That was Maye's second dub this season against a team with a winning record, he's just getting started. I'm sure he'll make light work of the Texans that's what a MayeVP does

Zac Taylor being the only AFC North coach to not lose his job is pretty funny.

I wonder if Tomlin is done coaching or if he goes after another job. He won't have any trouble catching on as a few organizations would love the stability he brought. Also heard Greg Roman was fired as Chargers O.C.

Supposedly going to do media for a year like his predecessor Bill Cowher, then all options are open from there

Browns could lose Schwartz though if they don’t make him HC.

Did we pick this week yet?

Texans @ Patriots - I was leaning Patriots because Stroud looked questionable, but I think I have to pick defenses over QBs this year so I'll say Texans.
Bills @ Broncos - Great QB playing at great defense, I will again take the defense.
Rams @ Bears - Great QB playing at terrible defense, take the QB. Rams coast.
49ers @ Seahawks - Same thing, taking the defense. 49ers surely score more than 10 points this time but they just don't have enough of a pass rush to put enough pressure on Darnold to cause him issues.

I'm regretting making Jacksonville my AFC dark horse instead of Houston - just didn't trust their offence. Just feels like that D is primed for a run. But I have the Pats going to the Super Bowl (losing) in my extended pre-playoff picks, so I feel the need to stay loyal to it.
