I imagine there's nuance in Conroy getting a beat on what Raz wants, and being able to inform Detroit and having Detroit prepare an offer Vs. just allowing the agent to discuss things directly with teams.
I don't know a lot about Nate Danielson (will start looking tonight), but I mean...recent relatively high 1st (and a Centre) + a 1st? That hits the rumoured asking price, and...it seems like nice quality vs. quantity. It'd be cool to see it happen, also...Detroit would be an inoffensive place for Raz to land from my perspective.
If this is the bar that is truly set for the return, I'm excited. If someone else beats that and gets Raz? Sweeeeeeet.

Meaning someone hit him on person?

Add a 2nd rounder so that they can select Joe Iginla a round earlier than he's expected to go.

That is correct.
Freidman reiterated it again this past week on the Fan hockey show.
The pieces must be agreed upon before permission on extension talks will be granted.

Glad to see Conroy learnt a lesson. Can't make that mistake again.

Was that the issue with Hanifin though, or just that Hanifin would only go to one team?
The pieces can be agreed upon but if Andersson doesn't agree then it doesn't really fully prevent a HAnifin

So there's more than 1 offer from Detroit, couple different "options" though Danielson's name didn't come up specifically.
Would be one the Flames would be interested in I'm told along with ASP and Nygard.
(No I'm not saying Calgary's getting any or all 3, just the 3 top "targets" for the Flames)

That's great... if the offers are not conditional on negotiation it basically isn't our problem teams can choose to take the risk themselves
or not. I guess the only wrinkle is if detroit is one of his 6 no trade teams.
I like Kasper more than Danielson and Bear 2nd most, but I still think thats a great return if true. Id take a 1st and Danielson now if it was that simple to remove any injury risk and improve the draft odds. Circle back to other teams one more time and give them a chance to beat it and if not take that deal. Danielson is still just halfway through his second pro season i think he has a lot of potential upside still

If the Flames are this deep in discussions with the wings wouldn’t it signal he’s open to signing there? I’m not sure how teams handle these things but whats the point for Conroy to entertain this offer knowing Ras won’t sign. He must have signalled he’s at least open to a discussion with Detroit on a contract

Not necessarily, last year the canes traded for rantanen and took the chance and he was unwilling to sign. So then you either treat him as a rental or flip him again. But if the market is hot for the player you can maybe do that.
With Hanifin if I recall correctly he already had a very short trade list and interest was tepid so the flames let him and his agent talk to teams in hope of getting more back but it backfired because he treated it like early ufa season, seelected a deal and market, said he would only sign with Vegas afterwards and Vegas had the flames in a bad situation where other teams were only offering rental prices knowing he would never sign there.

Could be as simple as Anderssons agent saying he is willing to hear what the Wings have to say but not necessarily leaning towards going there.

It feels like a lot for sure, is that guy reliable? People on reddit saying he is some kind of car dealer who hooks the flames up with vehicles?

Are these deals all for a signed Ras?
Any for just a pure rental?

Andersson is a underrated player on here who is having a great season. I'd say he has a top 10% GAF meter which can't be taught and is very sought after. I'd say for a signed Andersson that would be a fair trade.
