I love Mexican food and I need to get out and try Spicy Amigos one of these days. It is just kind of out of the way and in a cursed location. I don't remember any business surviving in that spot for too long. I really liked the schnitzel place that was there about 15 years ago.

Been there a few times and it's good. Not amazing but the stuff I had was solid, I'd go back.

I prefer Casa Catrina, maybe I was just extra hungry but I had one of their tortas and it was amazing.

Went to 5 Senses Ramen and Bistro the other evening and the food was quite excellent. The cheese fries alone were worth going for.

Prohibition Bar and Lounge was spectacular. Will definitely go again. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was perfect.

YYC Food and drink experience is running from March 13-29th- A good chance to try new things and get a bit of a deal. A lot of restaurants are offering 3 course meals for $50, and some "gourmet" options for $80. I checked out a few last year that were good.

Model Citizen is offering a special tasting that looks interesting, I might try and check it out.

Enjoy Thai-inspired dining guided by Newfoundland's bounty, along with Concorde chefs at this pop-up.
Joining from St. John’s, Ian Brown and Gabe Roberge of Namjim (formerly operating out of Bannerman Brewing Co.) will present a special two-night Thai-inspired-concept dinner at Model Citizen.

This is a pre-set menu, and will run for 2 nights, 2 dinner seatings per night.
