Plus, wasn't one of their d-men hurt last night? Not sure who it was and where he fits in their pairings.

Yeah that's why Hamonic played.

i am pretty sure i was at both those games...for sure the Blues game and it was hilarious!

Looked like Brzus was rewarded with extra ice time in the third.

Brzus did not let me down.

We have a swear filter on this board right?

Can we make it modify Brzus to his actual name?

His nickname should be keyboard, pressing random keys and calling it a name

I have to admit I actually remember that game….i think it was Joey Mullen that tied it in the last minute.

I remember the Toronto game and Bob Cole practically smirking when the Leafs got out to the big lead over what he called “the highly touted Calgary Flames”. I never really liked Cole after that. And it was sweet when the Leafs blew that lead.

The miracle on Manchester is my all-time favorite 5-0 3rd period come from behind win

But we also get that bad teams don't lose all 82 games.

And there is little point in whining about wins in a post game thread.
People can be happy with losses and frustrated at wins if they want but I think it goes a little TOO silly with the new the attempts to shift the narrative around that stuff and pretend anyone who doesn’t like it is actually wrong and shouldn’t push back.

There’s basically zero examples where going onto a fan site for a particular team and celebrating losses/whining about wins isn’t universally seen as annoying and weird. It seems a bit socially inept not to recognize that and think those “yums” should be protected from being “yucked” lol.

It’s all in fun anyway. If you’re going to come to a fan site and cheer for losses or whine about wins you should probably have decently thick skin to start out with.

The two times I mentioned were during the regular season. I should have specified.

The no goods debacle vs the kings was in the playoffs.

If you are thinking of the game in November 2018 where they scored 5 goals in the 3rd period, it was 4-1 Avs after the 2nd.

One year the Flames were up 5-0 on the Blackhawks and ended up losing somehow.

It was an early 5-0 lead, though. The Hawks basically had the whole game to claw back.
