Hmm, just actually criticizing Gio here. That's it. I thought the two posters comments being discussed were out of line and should not have been branded as representative of general "people".
But to your point, yeah I think there is a bit too much broad mocking here lately of posters who express disappointment with what they are hearing. It's just a few people that do it though so I should try harder to ignore it.
I thought Jiri made a great post a couple of days ago about how the conversation that day was very on point and focused on issues.
SOME people just can't get a handle on anyone not seeing what they see, so they have to attack or demean the messenger to make things right in their world.
Sad, honestly.
I do my best to explain why I choose to believe what I believe. And I feel I'm careful to point out why, and argue facts as stated. I don't think I take it to an attack or personal level all that often.
At least a person that states things like that out themselves for all to see. Damage already done.

There is a lot of awful in the world and people don't know where to put their angst. I think many fixate on sports as a release valve. It's really too bad.

Good grief, you want me to go back and find all the posts that accuse people of being uncritical of management to the point of being shills?
Those two posts were literally in the last 24 hours or so. There's lots more. They don't include you.
But, yeah, if I think people are getting too heated about little snippets third hand info, and treating them like facts carved in stone, I'm going to say so. They aren't just "expressing disappointment". They are making broad assumptions without a factual basis, and ignoring the actual things the club has done. In a situation where the club is exactly where they want it to be.

Solid, respectable journalists are being cast-out and replaced with professional debaters that are very good at winning arguments, regardless if they are right or not.
Conspiracy theorists are being given bigger and bigger podiums, and making more and more people both angrier, and dumber. That's a scary combination!
