Kings had 2 glaring holes on the roster, needing a middle six winger and a defense first defenseman. Still looking for an upgrade here and there, but this makes the need not so pressing.

Been after turcotte since he was drafted. Don't really care if he never makes it off the fourth line.

Scorp gets two good prospects, one of whom I wasn't really looking to trade. Either one could pop, but he'll have to wait a year to see.

I'm glad we were eventually able to land on that deal after the hilariously lopsided initial offer. I won't say which team it favoured.

All of my initial offers favor me, these days. It used to be that I'd offer something perfectly balanced, and the response would be delving into a Moraccan bartering system.

Now, I make a deal with wiggle room, and half the time I just get the response "pass" and I never hear from the other GM again. Madness, I say!

That said, I do have an offer out right now, that's I think is fair, because I've never traded with this particular GM.
