A gut punch, so many chances to win.

That’s fair. And the time between championships is comparable.

I just think for a Calgary fan, the Flames run is going to be tougher to get over. But baseball, maybe just due to the nature of the games, can be more agonizing.

Although double OT in game 6 and idiot fans chanting we want the Cup is still a knot in my stomach.

To think, if they don't pitch to Ohtani after his first hr in game 3, they wrap this thing up in 5...

I'm devastated. And I literally just started watching full baseball games 1 week ago.

Feeling it for the die hard fans out there! Damn what a devastating loss. Felt like Jays had all the huge underdog momentum throughout the full series and just to lose it like that.

Still blows my mind that Hoffman let's the 9 hitter tie it in the 9th. What a clown.

I'll never understand this. Other teams pitch around Guerrero Jr but the Jays were too,,,, I don't know what.

Jays deserved this win. I feel like the series was mismanaged on emotions.

The other thing is that this team captivated and united the country to a degree seemingly greater than Raptors '19... whereas after our game 7 I had to go finish off the school year listening to trash talk from dumb Oilers fans.

But remember, the pitch before could have just as easily been called a strike.

The ball/strike appeals can't come soon enough.
The umpire blew several calls (both ways) in high leverage moments. I'm looking forward to that no longer being a thing.

Well now I’m devastated about something I didn’t give a crap about 48 hours ago. Now I have two Calgary flames to make me feel crappy.

Exactly how I feel.

We were in Mexico last week and met some other people from Vancouver there. This one lady was 89 and a die hard Bluejays fan. She'd be sitting at the lobby bar every game in her jersey on and I would chat with her about the games when I saw here around the breakfast buffet the next day.

We came back Thursday but they are still there until tomorrow.
I was thinking about her watching at that resort tonight and hoping they'd win; felling sad for her now.

Gah I just saw a wide shot of the bases loaded situation.
Why didn't IKF have a bigger lead????

To not get doubled off on a hard hit line drive? Infield was in.

Yeah, that 2nd out in the bottom of the 9th was a real choke. A proper lead off of 3rd and/or running through home plate instead of sliding probably would have won the World Series for Toronto.

That was one of the more memorable playoffs for me (I'm also a Mariners fan due to their tie to Calgary in the 80's and 90's), while also being a double gut punch.

Watched it at the bar up the street and I was the lone Jays fan among all the Dodgers fans. I shook every one of their hands and congratulated them.

For the kids I coach, I teach them to win gracefully and more importantly lose gracefully. I had to live that lesson today.

This post season really had it all, was one of the most memorable for me. I'm glad I got to witness it.

Great season and a long winter ahead of watching this horrible Flames team now.....

I was screaming for Barger to steal the 2nd the moment he made it to first.

Yamamoto wouldn’t even look over after setting on the mound.

How can you leave the guy on first with one out and an automatic double play with Kirk and anything on the ground?

With Vladdy on third I bet they don’t even attempt a throw.
