Exactly. And then when the Jays were dominant for a decade, 85-95, the Sox and Yanks were doormats. But then the changing of power(spending) shifted and it was a different story. And when the Jays got back to relevance, the playoff format shifted. Just a weird timeline in a weird sport.

Going to my first live Jays game in 20 years on Saturday. Games Saturday, Sunday and the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday. Should be one hell of a boys trip. Needless to say I haven’t been this excited for a trip in a long time. Go jays go!!!

What's crazy is this year, 6 of the 7 original AL East teams are in the playoffs.

Toronto, Yankees, Boston, Detroit, Cleveland and Milwaukee.
