Like its crazy that this individual and others in his camp didn't try that first, but instead seethed in the shadows until one snapped and decided to go straight to murder.

There's pretty much zero evidence the shooter had a "camp" as you suggest.

And Kirk didn't debate, at least not in the good faith sense. He performed. Most liberals who debate do so too honestly to do what Kirk did (and guys like Shapiro or Peterson do).

I sincerely doubt that. Make the time. Ignorance is a big part of hate. Rather that seeking ways to bully trans people or use the LGBTQ community as a punchline, go volunteer and get to know some people. Listen to the stories of trans youth in their own words, for example, instead of just reading stories demonizing them.

Turns out that the Starbucks order that supposedly had "Loser" on it when the order was one known to be the favourite of Charlie Kirk, where a right wing operative went in and harassed the staff and got the store shut down for part of a day over, was all a lie.

Security camera shows staff didn't write that on the order.

No one is shocked that it's a lie.

Not that it’s any of your business, but my villain better card is full. Where do you counter your time within that community?

I hope you do volunteer. It’s a great community. I have lots of family and friends that are a part of it, so no ignorance here. And have never bullied a trans person.

Then actually get to know them if you have so many. How would your trans family member feel about you using exclusionary language or making rape jokes about them? How would your friends and family feel about you telling LGBTQ folks what Pride should be about?

If you can’t, then make some time on your “villain better” card and volunteer for an org supporting trans youth. Learn a bit about them. Get to know someone, not just so you can say they exist, but so you actually understand their perspective.

If you’re having this much trouble even understanding what homophobia or transphobia looks like, there’s a lot of ignorance left for you to remedy. Framing being queer as a “punishment” or acknowledging the homophobia prevalent on the right as “homophobic” itself does not convey a real sense of understanding.

Put in some effort instead of offering a “no thanks” because you can’t be bothered to support them.
