I don't understand why the league feels the need to do away with the fitness testing day. Surely teams need to know that players are coming into camp in good shape or if they have any niggles/injuries?

Are they getting rid of it because it gets so much press and those that do badly are getting hurty feelings!

They'll still do entrance medicals to check for injuries/fitness, but the formal fitness testing dog and pony show is being done away with.
