My portfolio is green across the board today. Clearly the market loves the news.

I dunno about that. I'd advocate for his death. I might have to question my belief in a higher power if everyone like Kirk suddenly and due to a variety of natural causes suddenly died. That would be a win in my books. But saying you advocate for them to be assassinated is a different thing entirely, is the point.

The only people whining about the reactions to Kirk's death either have no clue what a piece of #### person he was or are full on MAGA loons. Makes sense. Besides, I don't see any celebrating or rejoicing, only the acknowledgment that the world is a better place without this sack of #### spreading hate and racism.

I can't find it in myself to feel any remorse, this guy make his career perpetuating hate and intolerance, he was a disgusting person.

I don't know

The world isn't a worse place today than it was yesterday.

I think people are confusing celebrating his death and not giving a crap about it, which I'm definitely in the second camp. Just because I don't mourn his death and find the poetic justice of it all amusing doesn't mean I'm actively celebrating it.

It’s pretty telling to see our premier Smith rush to make that T&P’s post regarding Kirk. Did she make similar posts for Canadians murdered recently? Like that Lady in Edmonton last month or that kid in Toronto that caught a stray.

Analogy: I'm anti-death penalty. It doesn't mean I like murderers or think it's a huge loss when they are executed. I also didn't care much when Dahmer was killed in prison.

To be fair about being fair, at least one person (Gordon Bombay) absolutely very much did say those things.

I guess precident is set.

If you don’t agree with someone’s opinion you shoot them now.

Is this an example of being “progressive”?

Fair, I could have been more specific. I would have been ok with him having a heart attack and dropping dead, the assassination is the issue, not the death.

Also, Trump ordering flags at half mast for Kirk is ####ing disgusting. That should be saved for actual military honour and remembrance, for people who have valiantly fought and died for the country... not insufferable, hate-mongering bigots who haven't served a day in their life.

Honestly? I am ####ing happy he is dead. The man was a Nazi and the only good kind of Nazi is a dead Nazi. I am not happy he was killed in a act of violence, I would have much preferred he die of something like a heart attack while being lucky Pierre in a 3 dude threesome.

Again not saying violence is right but Kirk himself would be more then ok with it.

May the man rest in piss.
