My neighbour parked his motorcycle right in front of my driveaway at some point in the last day or two, and he seems to be away for the weekend.
His driveway is empty, and so is the street in front of it. I'm baffled at what he was doing here. Legit think he suffered some kind of trauma or stroke. Makes zero sense to me, guess he doesn't mind me driving over his lawn to get out?
Almost ran it over backing out as I just wouldn't expect a damn bike parked in front of the driveway.
I have a feeling now maybe some Telus workers moved it, they're doing fibre optic out here. I bet thats what happened, they figured it was mine. How long until it becomes mine??

Had a neighbor do that once. Parked the wrong way and blocked the driveway some time overnight. I sort of assume that they were a bit drunk and only managed to park like that and stumble back to their place. Got them to move it in the morning.
They have since moved away, never had it happen again since.

We have bee turf, mostly clover, for our front yard as we never had any luck getting grass to grow or stay healthy. At the beginning of summer it looked amazing, especially with all the rain. We keep it mowed and we really love it. Over the last month or so it's been wilting and struggling, which was odd considering the rain and weather we've been getting.
The other day, I was looking at my front camera captures, and we had a lawn guy come by and spray the yard. Unfortunately I can't see a company logo in the recording, so I have no idea who it is. We haven't ordered any kind of service, and now I'm wondering if one of out neighbors has actually hired a weed control company to come and spray it. I can't imagine it's a wrong service address, as it's obvious that this isn't the first spray that's happened. We've had zero complaints from neighbors, and last year when the water main broke we had the only green lawn on the block because clover is drought resistant. It pisses me off because we have no idea what's being sprayed on our lawn, whether it's harmful to animals, birds, bees, etc., and who TF cares that we don't have a yard full of dead grass?

The tasteless flavor of so much of our foods these days RGMG. Tomatoes with no flavor, steak with little to no flavor, chicken that tastes like some weird chemical. Fruits that are just meh. Eggs that are ok but nothing great despite being organic, free range, cage free etc.
I am not referring to cooking methods or cuisines. People can make anything generally taste good but a lot of things just don't taste like they used to on their own, it's all being masked by sauces, spices. Good beef had good flavor! A great chicken was delicious when seasoned with salt/pepper/oregano/lemon and roasted. Now it's almost like you need to season the hell out of something to actually make it taste ok.

One thing that has never made sense to me is why people are hung up on having zero biodiversity in their lawn. Biodiversity is beautiful in every way.

I remember reading a 17th century English grocery list that complained Carrots were too spicy to be kept with other vegetables in the pantry because they would make the other veggies taste spicy.

Fragmentation of TV and streaming these days GRMG. Come across a documentary on Gabe Landeskog's 3 year recovery to get back onto the ice. It's called A Clean Slate and I caught the final 5 minutes of the last episode on TSN.
I figure I can stream/watch it on any other of the several Bell Media properties I have like TSN1,2,3,4,5 or Crave or HBO or even Prime. I literally can't find a concrete location where I know I can see this in the next few days.
