That trip to New York/Jersey in March looks tempting

Wow they weren't kidding with the murderer's row schedule. 3 in 4. Vegas twice in same week. Jets twice in same week.

Yeah, 8pm weekend games are awful unless you're actually attending the game...and even then. I want to hang out with friends on the weekend after hockey games, not have a Flames game end the evening. I think 6pm local is the perfect start time, but sports have decided 7/8pm is the optimal start time. MLB has it perfect (but not intentionally) for a western Canadian fan. During the week - 5pm Calgary time, Saturday 1pm, Sunday 11am. Perfect for sports watcing and then moving on with your day/evening after.

Connect via Pearson out, and Pearson & Trudeau on the way back.

Realistically, next year is the year to go. Will have a few more things in place.

Maybe... maybe WestJet's direct flights will run a better time table for me (hoping they return).

Tuesdays and Saturdays doesn't work well for Flames games and work.

Can anyone put in a word for like Thursday & Sunday?

In Vegas for my 40th that weekend and just so happens on my actual Bday is Flames at Vegas, question for everyone- game or a nice casino/sports bar is good enough...

Born and raised Calgarian so go to a few flames game year, prefer NFL/NBA games on vacation since we don't have that here.

With the new arena coming in a few years, worth spending out the extra couple hundred bucks ( tickets, exchange, expensive drinks, etc) for the nicer arena or better to save some money and watch it in a casino/nice sports bar since there will be a great vibe- tons of Vegas and I'm guessing some flames fans there too.

I know its personal preference but any opinions and experiences would be appreciated, thanks!

If you haven’t seen a game in Vegas, you should go, it’s pretty fun..

Tickets in Vegas are always expensive, but it is a fun arena to catch a game - great fans, lots of energy.

House of horrors for the Flames though - I have had a few painful games there, including at least two shutouts. So a bar is a safer plan from that perspective
