Perfect Dumba replacement. Useless plug but much cheaper.

For a team looking to dump salary he does. Especially if Flames retain $100,000 then the acquiring team can waive Miromanov and bury the entire cap hit in minors. Just make the draft pick going the Flames good enough for Conroy to bite.

I was thinking Mctavish. Can’t see SJ picking Misa and then immediately trading him. Mctavish contract negotiations and role in Anaheim may be a bit easier to pry loose

Didn't his role just get solidified with Zegras being shipped out?

Yes and the gm said so when he traded Zegras. No room for him the top 2 is Leo and Mason.

Everything I have heard out of Anaheim is that Carlsson and Gauthier are the top 2 C's. MacTavish is rumoured to want out because they look they are grooming him as their future #3C

If he’s willing to go and you can get value, pull the ####ing trigger. This isn’t rocket science. You don’t need to worry about other teams winning a trade so much as at this stage you need to worry about yourself winning a trade and crystallizing on an asset that almost undoubtedly does not improve is just a good business decision. Kadri WILL NOT improve drastically, certainly not to an extent to create a course correction for the Flames such that now they are a cup contender.

Make the ####ing deal, go get your futures so you properly manage the roster / assets… learn from the Gaudreau and Andersson mistakes of holding onto assets beyond the right time to pull the trigger…

Like this shouldn’t be a scorched earth scenario where you need a ridiculous win on a trade before you finally decide to do the right strategic move. If it works pull the trigger. This quote drives me nuts because it reeks of Murray Edwards. Anyone who’s done business with CNRL knows exactly what I’m talking about. Just greed. Stupidity and greed. It’s not enough to win you have to DESTROY oh and then because of that stupid ####ing logic ironically your team never moves out of the mushy middle.

So frustrating. It does not and should not require a “blow the socks off” proposal to meet Kadri. Kadri is not that.

Well everything you are hearing is wrong unless Verbeek is a big liar.

Gauthier is a winger. Never heard him being a C.

He also stated they targeted Poehling to be their 3rd line center. He said so at the draft as well.

They wanted to move Zegras to the wing but with the Krieder trade and Gauthier they had no room.

Kadri is 100 percent in control. Flames can want to move him all they want. End of the Day it's his choice. And they should buy all rights demand a good deal. They'd be dumb to just dump him for scraps. Like it or not, Kadri is here.

Read my post. Again.

And then again. Then come back and let me know if what you said makes sense and aligns with what I said.

I mean your post is a whole lot of yelling about nothing. It basically says make the Flames an offer that is worth approaching a player that doesn't want to move and if he wants out then they will trade him.

Lots of smoke about Kadri’s willingness to move, so no. Tend to believe it. Feel free not to. But requiring a home run deal is stupidity.

You can stop with the attitude first off. Blow that right back up your chimney right quick.

Second off. You venting a text wall about moving Kadri that's as linear as a ball of yarn doesn't make what I said any less pertinent. Kadri doesn't want to move. And if he did, the rumor is only for Toronto. In what universe can they offer up a socks blown off offer? None.

So your whole post was for nothing. Other than to vent at imagined realities.

I'd trade Kadri asap if I was GM and could. But that's not reality. And truth be told, I think a lot of this Kadri junk is just Toronto media spinning up stories.

Anyways, I stupidly got in the way of a rant about nothing. I've learned my lesson.

There hasn't been much smoke that Kadri wants to leave at all. Most of the smoke has been that he doesn't want to move.
