I’ve asked Oilers fans that I know “would you support the Flames if they were in the Stanley Cup finals?” If they say “no ####ing way”, I respect them a bit more…not a lot…because they are Oilers fans.

So that was a tongue in cheek comment that if you actually read the full comment is wanting the oilers to lose but at the same time poking fun of our cursed luck as flames fans. I've probably been a Flames fan longer than you've been alive and on here pretty much daily since I joined.

Hell, I didn't mind the Red Army back then. They were a fun team to watch. And I actually wanted them to win in Lake Placid, miracles be damned.

Not just Josh but a few others who cheered for Canada when Canada wasn’t even playing. Or cheering for Alberta when Alberta wasn’t playing.

No coming back from this. Listening to the TSN host say another tough final for Canada and all the fans. We won the 4 Nations.

Enjoy your new team Oiler fans.
